Welcome to the GLAAD Media Institute registration form for the Telling Your Story: Messaging & Media Tools For Today’s *Filmmaker, Engagement 101 training. We are thrilled that you have chosen to participate in this jam-packed training that will take place on September 28 from 12 to 1:30 P.M. at the Queer Voices NYC Film Festival, a 3-day event that centers and celebrates LGBTQIA+ filmmakers of color from around the world and across all 5 Boroughs of New York City held at The Center.
The training room # will be sent out before the day of the training.
Together, in this training, participants will learn the basics of media structure and how to tell their stories on traditional, online, and social media platforms. Equipped with research and best practices gleaned from more than 30 years of experience, GLAAD will work with participants to reach and teach the movable middle about the LGBTQ community through compelling storytelling combined with the best and most up-to-date tools and know-how for general activism and media engagement.
