Telling Your Story: Messaging & Media Tools For Today’s Activist

Welcome! On behalf of GLAAD, the world’s largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization, and the GLAAD Media Institute, we’re excited to host a media advocacy training and panel for local organization staff, community leaders, and individuals. Training details will be provided upon registration confirmation.
Participants will learn the basics about media structure and how to tell their stories in traditional, online, and social media platforms. Equipped with research and best practices gleaned from more than 30 years of experience, GLAAD will work with participants to reach new audiences about community issues through compelling storytelling, combined with the best and most up-to-date tools and know-how for general activism and media engagement.
