Let LGBTQ youth know we have their backs
Now, more than ever, LGBTQ youth are facing unprecedented levels of harassment, bullying, violence in schools, on social media, and in the news.
The statistics are staggering:
- Nearly 70% feel unsafe at school.
- Almost half were bullied in the last year.
- 10,000+ book bans are actively erasing their stories and representation.
- LGBTQ hate speech protections are quietly being rolled back on social media platforms.
Let’s show young people we have their backs. Take the Spirit Day pledge that you’ll go purple on October 16 and commit to speaking out against bullying and discrimination anywhere you see it. This pledge only takes a minute, but if we all join in, we can create real, lasting change.
Together we can make sure LGBTQ youth feel seen, heard, and safe. Take the pledge today.
